Color Correction - After Covid

COVID had us doing all sorts of things we never would have envisioned before the pandemic hit. We hoarded toilet paper, watched more Netflix than should be humanly possible and we did things to our hair that we never imagined we would do.

We all did what we had to do to survive. There’s no shame in it. Home dye happens. We can fix it.

But we want you to be prepared for your experience before you head in for your Color Correction Service – just so there are no surprises and you know what you’re getting into. Color correction means that we’re going to pull out all the stops and do whatever we have to do to correct previously colored hair or restore your hair’s integrity.

These things take time

Getting your hair from the color it is to the color you want it to be isn’t necessarily as straightforward as you might think. When we’re doing a color correction service, you can expect multiple sessions to finally land on your ideal color. The reasons for this are many, but it’s primarily to keep from damaging your hair any more than it’s already been damaged.

Dyeing can be harsh on hair and taking time with the process will allow your hair to repair in between treatments. It all depends on the difference between the shade of your current hair color and the color you are aiming for.

Come in for a consult

With a consult we’ll be able to tell you in more detail what you can expect from a color correction. You and your stylist can talk about exactly what you’re looking for. They can give you the lowdown on what your imagined color will look like in reality and can tell you what is preferred (or possible) for your hair.

Each head of hair is unique. Each person’s vision for coloring is different. And the box dye you used through COVID might need some extra help to correct. A consultation can set your mind at ease and every question will be answered.

Whether you’ve got a mild case of the “boxed dye blues” or you’re getting closer to the Frankenstein’s bride level of emergency, we’ve got you. It’s nothing we haven’t seen (and corrected) before.

One last note, if you’re feeling shame or embarrassment over your current hair situation and it’s keeping you from coming in, just know that this is a judgment free zone. It was a worldwide friggin’ pandemic! Let us help you get back to the hair you want to see yourself in.
